Come to the Teddy Bear Hospital

As part of the Cambridge Science Festival coming to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, the Teddy Bear Hospital is opening it's doors especially for children to bring along their favourite cuddly toy for a check up..

Our expert ‘Teddy Doctors’, who are volunteer medical students, run the stations to teach the children about topics ranging from healthy eating to surgery and X-rays. They get to dress up as paramedics, put plaster casts on their teddies and even perform teddy surgery! Each child or group of siblings will need be accompanied by an adult.

Please meet in the Addenbrooke's Treatment Centre (Zone 3) at the entrance to the Day Surgery Unit (speak to volunteers in the yellow Cambridge Science Festival T Shirts if you get lost) at least 5 minutes before the tour is due to start or your tickets may be given to others who are waiting.
