Early Detection programme infographics launch & Christmas networking
[in-foh-graf-ik], noun. Information graphics or infographics, are graphic visual representations of information, data or knowledge intended to present information quickly and clearly.
Join the Early Detection programme for the launch of our new infographics factsheets, created in order to address some of the information gaps that have been identified to exist across the clinical / physical science divide for those working in early cancer detection.
The infographics will give physical scientists an overview of the development, progression and current standard of care for certain cancer types, as well as identifying in which areas there may be opportunities for their research to aid early detection. For clinicians, the STEM infographics will articulate how ongoing science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) research could be directly integrated into clinical application to make the biggest and most rapid impact.
This exciting project has been ongoing throughout 2016 and has involved many colleagues from across the University of Cambridge and the NHS Foundation Trust. The finished product is in keeping with Cancer Research UK’s branding and we are delighted to be able to unveil them at this event in December.
Since the date of this event is relatively close to Christmas we invite you to enjoy some festive drinks and nibbles whilst learning more about the Early Detection infographics set.
