POSTPONED - Metabolic Aspects of the Brain Muscle Axis

The CMN-DDA course on Metabolic Aspects of the Brain Muscle Axis offers a chance to learn about the latest research from group leaders and Research Associates based in Danish and Cambridge institutions. Speakers will address the following research areas:

  • How the brain senses nutrient and metabolic status
  • working with stem cells to understand metabolic disease
  • the role of exercise in healthy muscle metabolism.

Additional time for discussions around next challenges for the research areas covered in each session will be programmed in order to maximise the likelihood of developing useful collaborations. Limited places will be allocated on the basis of abstracts that address questions to promote collaborative thinking (see further details under ‘registration and submission of abstracts’).
