Tom Keil

Senior Associate Director of Development – Cancer


Tom Keil joined the Development and Alumni Relations Office in November 2020 as Senior Associate Director, with a focus on fundraising for Cambridge Cancer. Tom joined from King’s College London / Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity, where he led major gift activity in cancer, working with academic and clinical leadership to build engagement and giving. He previously served as a Philanthropy Manager at Save the Children, where, amongst other responsibilities, he managed relationships with the UK fundraising board. Tom brings to this role a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges of cancer fundraising, and a track record of working successfully in the complex interface of universities, charities and the NHS. He holds an MA from King’s College London in Conflict Resolution in Divided Societies and is also an alumnus of Cardiff University.
