Strategy Project Support Manager

Mariama joined Cambridge University Health Partners (CUHP) in April 2024 as the Strategy Project Support Manager, responsible for supporting projects that align with the Cambridgeshire Life Science Strategy. With the overarching aim of promoting healthcare innovation and research, Mariama works on a range of projects across the five key pillars that support the backbone of CUHP’s work: Funding, Talent, Place, Network, and Data. Fostering strong relationships with representatives across member organisations, government bodies, and industry partners is a crucial part of her role. These collaborations drive the translation of CUHP’s strategic goals into actionable healthcare solutions, thus enhancing patient care and contributing to economic growth. 

Prior to her role at CUHP, Mariama was the Team Lead managing US and UK-based project specialists at AI-driven technology company Techspert. Mariama obtained undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Immunology from The University of Aberdeen and The University  of Glasgow.
