Emily joined CUHP and Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Foundation Trust as the Business Engagement and Clinical Innovation Manager in 2022 and moved to lead Clinical Innovation in 2023. Emily works to embed Innovation Landing Zones across CUHP provider organisations. 

Prior to this, Emily worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge in organic chemistry and machine learning. She previously obtained a PhD from the University of Leeds and a Masters degree from the University of Leeds. Emily has also held a European Molecular Biology Organisation (EMBO) fellowship and conducted research into rare forms of cancer at pharmaceutical charity LifeArc.
